Leader In Training
Camp Foley LITs are:
- Going into 9th grade or above
- Highly motivated, ready to work (and play) hard
- Eager for personal growth
- Doing their best to live as a role model in our camp community
- Giving up some camp free time to fulfill the expectations of the program
- Completing each part of the program with enthusiasm and to the best of their ability!
What You’ll Do:
- LIT Classes: One activity period in each of the first three sign ups are dedicated to LIT Class, divided into three categories; Personal Growth, Life Skills, and Professional Skills
- Plan and lead team games during special days at camp
- Participate in a community service event
- Help with behind-the-scenes work around camp
- Lead within the camp community- helping out a younger camper, briefly assisting a counselor at an activity, or leading a song for all of camp!

Becoming a Returning LIT (LIT2)
- Campers become eligible to be an LIT2 after completing a summer in the LIT1 program and will be entering 10th grade in the fall (11th graders should apply to the CIT program)
- This program follows the same format described above, with classes building on the skills learned in the LIT1 program
- The same commitment to being a camp role model, and to giving up camp free time for classes and programs applies
- LIT2s will be given more responsibilities and leadership opportunities then LIT1.
