Ana Lu Agudelo Perez is coming back to camp for her 6th summer, and her first as a counselor! Ana Lu lives in Amsterdam in the Netherlands and will be traveling back to Minnesota to teach Climbing and Crafts. We are so excited for Ana Lu to be back at Camp Foley!
Grant Altenhofen is coming back for his 13th year at Camp Foley and his second year as a counselor. Outside of camp Grant has been busy working as an engineer here in Minnesota. He will be back teaching Waterskiing and Wakeboarding, Riflery, Fishing, and Archery this summer. We are excited to see you soon, Grant!
Carolina Alvarez was a camper for three years and an octo for one. This year she will join us as a counselor for the first time! You will be able to find Carlina down at the lake, where she will be teaching Sail Bics and Waterskiing/Wakeboarding. Welcome back to camp, Carolina!
Seleen Burns is returning to camp for her first summer as a counselor and her 7th summer overall. She grew up in Eden Prairie, MN, but is currently studying Psychology at the University of Oregon. This summer you will find Seleen teaching Guitar and Video Creativity, as well as helping with some marketing around camp. Welcome back to Foley, Seleen!
John Butler joined us as a counselor last summer during 2nd session, and will be back for his first full summer as a counselor this year! This will be John’s 6th summer at Foley after being a camper and an Octo. He will be teaching waterskiing, sailing, and archery. Welcome back, John!
Carmen Campbell is coming back for her 3rd year as a counselor, and her 10th year at Camp Foley! Carmen is studying Human Development and Family Studies at Michigan State University, and as an expert in Archery, Climbing, Crafts, and leading the dishwashers; she will be one of our captains this summer! We are thrilled to have Carmen back at Foley this summer!
Ella Cherveny is making her return to Foley for her 4th summer, and first as a staff member! Originally from Denver, Colorado, Ella attends Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. Ella will be joining us to teach Sailing and Windsurfing. Welcome back to Foley, Ella!
Ava Ciavarelli is returning for her second year as a Camp Foley counselor! This will be Ava’s 6th summer at Camp Foley. She currently attends Iowa State University where she is studying Event Management. We can’t wait to have Ava back to be one of our captains and teach Sailing and Trap. See you soon, Ava!
Owen Claymon is making his return to Camp Foley for his 9th summer, and his first as a counselor. Currently, Owen is studying Psychology and Socio-Legal Studies at the University of Denver. Owen will be sharing his expertise at Sailing and Riflery. Welcome back to camp, Owen!
Griffin Curran is back for his fourth summer on staff and his 9th summer at Camp Foley! An expert at many areas of camp, Griffin will be busy lending a helping hand all around Foley. Griffin is from Geneva, Illinois where he currently is a middle school teacher. We are very excited to have you back, Griffin!
John Daily is returning to Camp Foley after a few years away for his 15th summer! We are so excited to welcome back John from Nashville, Tennessee. He will be busy this summer teaching fishing, Riflery and Trap, and Waterskiing/Wakeboarding. See you soon, John!
Noah Dunn came to Camp Foley for our outdoor education program when he was a 6th grader, and now he is returning to be a camp counselor this summer! Noah is from Marshall, Minnesota and is studying Chemistry Education and Middle School Science. He will be teaching swimming, nature, and biking this summer. Welcome back to Foley, Noah!
Kai Elizondo is from Monterrey, Mexico and studies graphic design at the University of Monterrey. This summer, Kai will be joining us as a staff member for the first time! You will be able to find Kai teaching Crafts, Guitar, and Shop. We can’t wait to see you soon, Kai!
Betsy Fries was a camper for 8 summers and is coming back for her first summer on staff. She is from Minneapolis, but is currently attending The University of Wisconsin-Madison to study Marketing. She will be sharing some of her marketing talents with us this summer, as well as teaching photography and helping to Lifeguard. See you soon, Betsy!
Leonardo Hernández García has never been to Camp Foley before, but will be a counselor for the first time this summer! Leo is from Mexico City, where he is in the school at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. You can find Leo teaching guitar, paintball, and soccer this summer. Welcome to the team, Leo!
Sofia Garza is coming back for her 7th summer at Camp Foley. After joining us as an Octo last summer, Sofia will be a counselor for the first time this year. Sofia is from Monterrey, Mexico and will be teaching Sailing and Riflery. We can’t wait for you to be a part of the staff, Sofia!
Rodrigo Gutiérrez is currently studying communications in Merida, Mexico, but this summer he will be joining us at Camp Foley for his first summer as a counselor! Rodrigo is going to be teaching Biking, Photography/Video Creativity, and maybe some tennis. Welcome to Foley, Rodrigo!
Tess Jones grew up about an hour away from Camp Foley, but will be joining us for her first summer this year! She is currently studying Elementary Education at Bemidji State University, but will soon be a counselor at Foley. Tess will be teaching tennis and also helping to cook in the kitchen! Welcome, Tess!
Nick Kronschnabel is back for another summer as a counselor at Camp Foley. This will be his 4th official summer on staff. Nick is from Mendota Heights, Minnesota and will be back as one of our captains as well as teaching Archery, Trap/Riflery, and leading the charge on Frisbee Golf! Welcome back, Nick!
Johnny Larkin is returning to Camp Foley for his 7th summer. A former camper and Octo, Johnny will be a counselor for the first time! He currently is studying Finance at the University of St. Thomas here in Minnesota, and will be teaching Archery, Climbing, and Tennis. Welcome back, Johnny!
Marco Lomeli is returning to Camp Foley from Mexico City for his second summer as a counselor! Marco is finishing his degree in Communication Studies this spring and then will join us at camp to teach mountain biking, video creativity, and be around to take pictures and videos as well. We can’t wait to see you soon, Marco!
Aria Mahan-Cleveland is coming back for her 11th summer at Camp Foley, and her second as a counselor. Aria is in her first year of school at Syracuse University, where she is working towards becoming an orthodontist. Aria will be teaching Archery and Waterskiing this summer. Welcome back, Aria!
Derek Martin Pasos is coming back for his second summer at Camp Foley! Derek goes to school in Mérida, Mexico and will graduate this June with a degree in tourism management. You will be able to find Derek back at Foley teaching Archery, Paintball, and Archery Tag. Welcome back, Derek!
Julian Miguel Ceballos studies graphic design at the University of Monterrey in Mexico, and will be at Foley for the first time this summer. Julian will be sharing his talents as a swim instructor and will also be helping out with crafts. Welcome to Camp Foley, Julian!
Aidan Norman is from Cardiff, Wales in the United Kingdom and will be at Foley for his second year on staff. Aidan was last here in 2018, and will be joining us this summer to teach Mountain Biking and Tennis. We are excited to have you back at camp, Aidan!
Andrea Ortiz is joining us from Bogotá, Colombia for her first summer as a counselor! Andrea is currently studying Industrial Engineering and will be sharing her talents teaching climbing, paintball, and also helping out as a cook! We can’t wait to have you, Andrea!
Maria Perez will join us at Foley for her second summer on staff! Maria, who is studying Biomedical Engineering in Monterrey, will be teaching Guitar, Climbing, and Crafts this year. We can’t wait for Maria to be back at camp this summer!
Natasha Provan will be the first person to represent Australia at Foley in a few years. She will be joining us from Perth, Australia, where she studied Photography and Illustration. Natasha will be teaching Canoeing, Snorkeling, Photography, and Crafts. Welcome to Camp Foley, Natasha!
Mia Stenberg was a camper for 9 years, and will be entering the Hall of Fame this year when she returns for her first summer as a counselor! Mia is studying Music and Humanities at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. She will be busy this summer teaching snorkeling, riflery and swimming. See you soon, Mia!
Will Swanson makes his return to Foley for his second year as a counselor, and his 7th year at Camp Foley. This spring Will is going to graduate from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in Architecture. He will then join us at Foley to teach Fencing, Waterskiing, and Riflery/Trap. We can’t wait to see you soon, Will!
August Thybold is from Danderyd, Sweden (just outside of Stockholm) and will be joining us for his second summer at Foley, and his first as a counselor. August will be teaching Tennis and will also be a Waterski/Wakeboard instructor. We can’t wait to see you back at Camp Foley, August!
Paloma Valdés is returning for her second summer as a counselor in 2023. Paloma is currently attending the University of Monterrey, where she studies graphic design. Paloma will be busy around camp helping out with at least crafts, shop, and paintball. See you soon, Paloma!
Ana Pau Villareal will be back at Foley for her second year on staff this summer! Ana Pau is from Monterrey, Mexico, where she studies Organizational Psychology. She will be teaching Photography, Paintball, and Climbing. We are very excited to have Ana Pau back for another year at Camp Foley!
Debbie Vazquez is returning for another summer as a Foley counselor! Debbie is currently studying clinical psychology at the University of Monterrey in Mexico. Debbie will be busy at Paintball, Climbing, taking pictures, and lifeguarding this summer. We can’t wait to see you soon, Debbie!
