Grant Altenhofen is making his return to Camp Foley! After a few years away from Foley, Grant will be coming back to become a Foley “Lifer,” and complete his 12th summer at Camp Foley. Grant is from Minnesota and will be busy sharing his talents at the Riflery range, teaching skiing, and also as a fishing instructor. See you soon, Grant!
Atlas Andre is from Lake Worth, Florida and will be traveling to Camp Foley for the first time this summer! Atlas attends Florida Atlantic University and is studying Mechanical Engineering. Atlas will be spending lots of time at the lake teaching waterskiing, snorkeling, and paddleboarding! We can’t wait for you to be a counselor, Atlas!
John Butler is returning for his 5th summer at Camp Foley, and his first official summer on staff! John was an octo last summer and is coming back for part of the summer to share his talents and love for camp. John attends school at North Central College, where he also plays lacrosse. We can’t wait for you to be back at camp, John!
Thomas Butler, who many of you know as Coach Ice, will be back for his third summer as a counselor at Camp Foley. Coach Ice will be found all over camp this summer, but will definitely be up in the woods as our paintball specialist and of course coaching basketball. We can’t wait for Coach Ice to come back and share his energy and excitement with all of camp!
Carmen Campbell is coming back for her 9th summer at Camp Foley, and her 2nd summer as a counselor. Carmen attends Michigan State University. She will be back at the archery range and the climbing tower helping kids master those activities. Welcome back Carmen!
Ava Ciavarelli has been to Foley 4 times as a camper, but is coming back for her first summer on staff! Ava attends Iowa State University and will be sharing her many talents with the campers down at the lake teaching sailing and up at the Riflery and Trap ranges as well. Welcome back Ava!
Lauren Cortright attends the University of Wisconsin – Madison during the school year, but this summer she will be spending her very first summer at Camp Foley! Lauren will be spending lots of time down at the lake, especially at the swim dock teaching swimming lessons. Welcome to Foley, Lauren!
Griffin Curran is back once again after a two-year hiatus! Griffin is a master of Riflery and Trap, and also a seasoned cabin counselor. Griffin is now a middle school teacher in Illinois, and we can’t wait for him to come back and share his expertise with all the campers and staff!
Jens Damgaard, the 1st recipient of the Buoy Award, is joining us for his 3rd summer as a Camp Foley counselor! Jens spent the year starting what is sure to be a successful career out in California, and will be coming back to Foley to be the Boy’s captain, help with marketing at Foley, and spread his joy all around camp. See you soon, Jens!
Lucas Gerrard has been coming to Camp Foley since 2014, and will be back for his second summer on staff. As a construction management major at University of Wisconsin – Stout, Lucas is ready to build upon his skills from last year teaching Waterskiing and Riflery.
Noah Granger is from Boca Raton, Florida, but has decided to travel north for the summer to spend it with us at Camp Foley! Noah is excited for his first summer at Foley, where he will be busy teaching Fencing, Shop Class, and Climbing. Welcome Noah!
Annie Heinritz is coming back to Camp Foley again this summer. Last year, Annie was here for her first summer as a Foley counselor, and will return at the end of July for her 11th year at camp. We are so excited for Annie to come back and be a waterski instructor and share her expertise with the sailing program. Welcome back, Annie!
Maggie Hinken is back at Foley! After last being a counselor in 2019, summer number 4 as a counselor is in store for Maggie. This will be her 11th summer at Camp Foley, and we can’t wait to have her back as a marina leader, a ski boat instructor, and of course teaching sailing Bics! Welcome back, Maggie!
Patrick Igo was a camper for 8 years, and is coming back to Whitefish Lake this summer for his first summer as a counselor. Patrick attends the University of Iowa and is studying Finance and Business Analytics Information Systems. He is an expert wakeboarder and will be sharing his talents as a ski boat driver, as well as teaching paintball and archery tag. Welcome back to Foley, Patrick!
Cade Keller is originally from Florida, but attends Macalester College here in St. Paul, Minnesota. This summer Cade will travel even further north and join us at Foley! Cade will spend lots of time down at the lake teaching fishing, snorkeling, and swimming. He will also help out with Climbing. See you soon Cade!
Dan Klauer is returning to Foley for his 6th summer, and his first as a staff member. Dan is from Massachusetts and is studying Biochemistry and Bioengineering at Northeastern University in Boston. You will see Dan all over camp this summer, being a waterski/wakeboard instructor, teaching sailing, and paintball! See you soon, Dan!
Grace Krasny was part of the Octo program in 2021, but this summer she will be back for her very first summer as a counselor! Grace is from Minnesota, but now attends Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland. She will be gracing us with her presence at the climbing wall and teaching guitar this summer!
Nick Kronschnabel is a man of many talents. Archery, Riflery, Frolf, and everything in-between, he can do it all. Nick will be bringing his many years of camp experience back to Foley this summer. After finishing up college at University of Wisconsin – River Falls this spring, Nick will be here for his 4th summer on staff.
Tsuki Larkins has decided to join us at Camp Foley for her first time ever! She is originally from Wilsonville, Alabama and will be coming to Camp Foley to teach Crafts, Nature, and Photography. We are very excited Tsuki will be here for her first summer at Foley, Welcome to Camp, Tsuki!
Kendal Lee was a Foley camper for three summers, and we are excited for her to join us for her first year as a counselor this summer! Kendal is originally from Denver, Colorado and will be teaching Sail Bics, Paddleboarding, and helping out with Windsurfing. Welcome back Kendal!
Marco Lomeli is coming from Mexico to join us for his first summer at Camp Foley. Marco graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico last summer with a degree in communication studies. He will be teaching mountain biking this summer. Welcome Marco!
Aria Mahan-Cleveland is coming back to Foley for her 10th summer at camp!! After being a camper for 9 summers, she will be joining us for her first summer on staff. Aria will be busy this summer teaching archery, ski boat driving, and being a lifeguard. We can’t wait for her to be back at Foley!
Emily McGuire is a very experienced Camp Foley counselor and we are excited to welcome her back for another summer! This will be Emily’s 5th summer on staff, and she will be back at the lake making sure that everything runs smoothly and of course teaching Windsurfing! Welcome back Emily!
Graham McPhee is joining us for his third summer at Camp Foley, and his first summer as a counselor. In the fall, Graham will be attending St. John’s University in Minnesota and playing lacrosse there. You can find Graham teaching Archery, Riflery, or different sports at camp! Welcome back Graham!
Javier Pandal Casillas was first at Camp Foley as a camper in 2018, and will be returning to Whitefish Lake in 2022. We are super excited to welcome back Javier for his first summer as counselor at Foley! Javier will be coming from Mexico City and will be busy teaching Biking, Archery, and Running!
Derek Martin Pasos currently lives in Merida, Mexico, but he will soon be on the shores of Whitefish Lake for his first summer at Camp Foley! Derek is currently studying tourism management at the University of Merida and will be teaching Archery and Paintball.
Maria Perez is from Monterrey, Mexico and will be traveling to Minnesota for her first summer at Camp Foley. She will be busy at Foley this summer teaching Guitar, Crafts, and Mountain Biking. We can’t wait for Maria to get here to experience her first summer at Foley!
Jayda Price has never been to camp before, but we are very excited for her to be a counselor at Camp Foley this summer! Jayda is from Phoenix, Arizona and attends Reed College in Portland, Oregon. She will be sharing her passion for Nature with the campers this summer. Welcome Jayda!
Faith Roche began as a camper in 2013, and will be here for her 8th summer at Camp Foley this summer and first as a counselor. Faith has a talent for the creative arts, and will be teaching Crafts and other creative arts at camp. We are very excited for Faith to be back at Foley!
Charles Shearon is coming back for his 6th summer at Camp Foley! Charles was a camper for 5 years, and will be coming back for his first summer as a staff member. Charles is originally from Chicago, but attends Union College in New York. He will be teaching Climbing, Shop, Sailing, and Tomahawks and Slingshots. Welcome back, Charles!
Taylor Storbakken will be at Camp Foley for the first time this summer. Taylor attends South Dakota State University and is working on a Public Relations degree. She will be teaching climbing this summer, as well as doing some video production around camp. Welcome Taylor!
Paloma Valdés is a Graphic Design student who attends the University of Monterrey in Mexico. She will be traveling from Monterrey to Minnesota for her first summer at Camp Foley. Paloma will use her graphic design skills to teach crafts this summer. Welcome Paloma!
Debanhi Vazquez also attends the University of Monterrey in Mexico. She will be joining us as a counselor for her first summer at Camp Foley. Debahni will be all around camp teaching Photography and Paintball to the campers. We are very excited for Debhani to join us this summer!
Ana Villareal will be at Camp Foley for her first summer with us here in Minnesota. As another counselor who attends school in Monterrey, Mexico, Ana will be teaching Photography and Mountain Biking. Welcome to the staff Ana!
Alex Vereo will be back for his second summer on staff at Camp Foley! He is excited to travel back to Minnesota from Mexico City for another great year on the Foley staff. Alex has many talents and will be helping all around camp, especially at the Riflery range.
