converting campers to community builders
Leadership Program
A Message From Kate, Former Camper
Camp Foley Leadership Program
The Camp Foley Leadership Program is a unique 4-year LIFE PROGRAM that prepares campers to flourish in all areas of their life. The young adults who complete this program will have practiced valuable skills that they can apply to attending college, employment, extracurricular activities, living independently, and becoming a respected leader in their community. Our goal is to convert the young adults in the Leadership Program into Community Builders. The Leadership Program is the pinnacle of the Camp Foley experience, and allows participants to make the most of their final years at Camp Foley.
What is a Community Builder?
A Community Builder is a person who feels a responsibility towards their community and has the will and capability to make a meaningful positive impact within it.
What Will We Do?
The leadership program is divided into three categories, Personal Growth, Life Skills, and Professional Skills. Participants in the leadership program will give input on the topics they will learn. A record of the classes each participant has taken will be kept, to create their Leadership Program Portfolio.
