Now Picture this… Winter has come and gone… spring flowers are in full bloom and school’s almost out! Can you feel that excitement for summer yet?
As summer quickly approaches, it means that summer camp is close and there are memories to be made. The grass is cut, hoops/net are up, docks are in, and bows are strung…let’s go! I know you can feel that summer excitement no matter what month it is but to help make summer at Foley even more exciting I’ve compiled a list of items to pack with you. These items are a little different than the necessary shoes, pillow, bathroom supplies, and attitude. These items are the “fun” ones!
Last summer I saw a wide variety of “neat” items campers brought with them to Foley from a hotdog onesie, a completely decked out tackle box, to custom sunglasses. Now here’s a disclaimer…don’t pack things you don’t want broken or lost (not saying it’ll happen but there’s a possibility).
So here it is, let’s go with lucky number 4.. 4 items to pack to enhance your experience at camp.
Alpha Game Swag!
Sure you can just throw your team color shirt on… but let’s go ALL out and go head to toe in your team colors! Get loud, Get Proud! I’m talking socks, pants/shorts, head band, or even sunglasses!

Flashlight.
Who doesn’t love a good old flashlight battle? From night walks to the bathroom to a like to read your favorite book or to help journal at night.
Camp Chair
It’s mentioned in the packing list and we sell them in the store, but a camp chair can be used for multiple uses! Being comfortable at activities or waiting to go into the dining hall can be a game changer. It can also double as a water bottle carrier.

Hats!
It’s summer time and the sun is out! Show off your favorite sports team or movie either way it’ll be a great conversation starter and protect yourself from those UV rays. We love to see all the different personalities come out even with something as simple as a hat. Have some fun with it (just not too much fun)!
