What is the best length of camp for my camper?
2 Weeks: This is great option for kids (or parents) who are a little hesitant about the camp experience. This is the perfect amount of time to get your camper’s feet wet at camp, try out some activities and learn more about special programming, living away from home and building relationships. It is also so great for the super busy family that can’t squeeze in a 3 week session. We also know that summers are busy! This is a great option for those of you that have a lot going on but still want to get to camp for a couple weeks.
3 Weeks – MOST POPULAR OPTION: With two different session date options, this is our bread and butter. Campers take 3-4 days to really settle into their cabins, get to know their cabinmates and staff and get their camp legs. This 20 day session allows them to have that settling time and still get a solid two weeks of premium camp experience. The extra time also allows for more skill development in activities, 3-day camping trips and more. Over the last two years we have seen kids as young as 6 and as old as 17 be successful in the three week session. More days = more time for surprises and creative programming. Camper’s that are going in to their Junior Year of High School also can participate in the CIT program during these sessions.
5 Weeks: We heard you! With no option for 4 weeks over the last couple of years, some of our campers have missed the between session excursions (Northshore Trips and Brainerd Excursions) and extra time at camp. We are bringing it back! Our 5 week session combines the first two sessions of our summer and allows for some extra time in the middle.
6 Weeks: Over the last couple years we have had several campers enjoying a 6 week camp experience with time in between sessions to either go home or see friends for a couple days. This will once again be an option by attending the two three week sessions back to back. We hope we can continue to grow our 6 week pod!
We want to talk to you! Call (218-543-6161) or Email us to chat about what is best for your family.

Waitlists and Full Sessions
If there is a waitlist started for a session you wish to attend, please call the camp office. Sometimes the waitlist is only for a specific age group, and you may have a good chance to get into the session. Typically, we get movement on the waitlists in late March when our higher cancellation fee kicks in. There are no guarantees, and we will notify you as soon as a space opens. In the meantime, register for an alternate session. Full deposits will transfer from one session to another.
If a session is filled and your friends are registered without you, try convincing your friends to attend a different session. Full deposits will transfer from one session to another. Or, come to camp on your own! Many campers come to camp without a friend and end up making new, lifelong camp friends. Camp Foley counselors are great at helping campers meet new people and make new friends.
