We have come to the end of November and that means an end to our fundraising campaign Camp Moves Me!
This year we raised over $24,000, which is crazy to even type out!! We had over 200 people donate this month. This money will go directly to helping send as many kids as possible to Camp Foley this summer who otherwise could not afford to come. We will be able to give so many more campers the gift of camp because of all of our amazing donors.
We want to thank all 24 of our participants who helped by moving all of November…

Ally here! This was my fifth year participating in Camp Moves Me, and I have been blown away by the generosity of the Camp Foley Community. I know why I wanted to raise Money for Camp Moves Me, I work here DUH! Along with working here, I have too many great memories of Camp Foley to count and I feel pretty passionate about getting as many kids to come to camp as I can.
So this year to wrap up Camp Moves Me, lets hear it straight from our Movers… Why did you do CMM?
“A little sappy. Without camp I would not be as confident, as social, as understanding. I wouldn’t have most of my bestfriends. My ability to adjust. Without camp I wouldn’t be able to shake off the bad stuff… Without camp I wouldn’t know how to water ski and sail and shoot a bow and plunge toilets and tie bowlines in the rain… This is why I do Camp Moves Me.”- Alli Faricy, director of Camp Foley
“I can say with 100% certainty that camp has shaped me into the human I am today and I truly believe that every single kid needs an experience that only summer camp can offer to assist in developing into curious, resilient, kind, and passionate individuals.”- Kylie Beltz, past camper and counselor
“I started working at Camp Foley in 2016, because I wanted to work outside for the summer. At the beginning of the summer, I told myself I would only be able to work one year and would have to find an internship the next summer. Five years later (including two more summers of counseling) I now work here full time and have found a place that allows me to be the best version of myself. I have seen first-hand many other campers and staff who have been impacted by camp in ways they never thought imaginable.” Joe Harrington, past camper, counselor, and current AD
“Camp gives kids a chance to grow their circles , grow their independence, and it directly affects the kind of adults they will become.”- Sam Troia, husband to camp alumna and father of a future Foley camper!
“I do it because even if I say I am not actively there, I still want a way to stay connected to the camp community while doing some good”- Griffin Curran, past camper and current Foley counselor
