Session 5
Camper MESH
M.E.S.H. stands for Mental, Emotional, Social Health. Each camper’s health is more than physical and it is our goal as a Team of Counselors to work with the entire health of the individual. In this section, you will be learning 3 Behavior Management Skills to bring with you to camp that are important in fulfilling this goal – Supervision, Empathy and Listening. Next you will learn practical tips to handle three MESH challenges, from the voices of teenagers, that you will most likely be faced with this summer in our campers – Anxiety, ADHD, and the importance of Self-Confidence.
