Why We are Here

To perform your job to the highest level, you need to be completely onboard with the mission and other aspects of camp life.  Without a purpose, your job is nonexistent.

Tasks

A. Memorize the Mission Statement, “We partner with parents to drive campers to grow, gain grit, investigate and build independence.”
B. Go to the website, Why Foley? Go through the Grow, Grit, Investigate, Independence sections and know how Foley defines each word and drives campers in this area.

1. While you are watching the “Last Child in the Woods” (below) think about what is causing the nature deficit disorder, the benefits of time in nature, and what we, as a summer camp, can do to offset this problem.
