We have come to the end of November and that means an end to our fundraising campaign Camp Moves Me!
This year we raised over $15,000! We had over 140 people donate this month. This money will go directly to helping send as many kids as possible to Camp Foley this summer who otherwise could not afford to come. We will be able to give so many more campers the gift of camp because of all of our amazing donors.
We want to thank all of our participants who helped by moving all of November…

Joe is MOVING
Ally here! This was my seventh year participating in Camp Moves Me, and I have been blown away by the generosity of the Camp Foley Community. I know why I wanted to raise Money for Camp Moves Me, I work here DUH! Along with working here, I have too many great memories of Camp Foley to count and I feel pretty passionate about getting as many kids to come to camp as I can.

So this year to wrap up Camp Moves Me, lets hear it straight from our Scholarship Campers… What impact has Foley had on you?
“ I know some people worry about being away from their family for so long but for me the people at camp are my family, and I can’t think of any better way to spend my last summer at camp foley. Over the 10 months after camp, I spend every day talking about it to all of my friends and family, especially my mom she gets to hear it all of the time. Above all I can not image the person I would be without camp. Camp has helped me grow my confidence, empathy, and compassion for all of the people around me and I hope to continue to grow from my last camper experience at camp foley.” -Aged out West End Camper
“I want to go to Camp Foley because it’s my childhood. Camp Foley has always been my second mother, the father I couldn’t have. Even through all my bad years and tough times, Camp Foley has always been there. When I didn’t get birthday cards from my friends or when I had a hard time keeping in touch with people, Camp Foley was there. Every year, I wait through the months just for summer to come back; I wait for Camp Foley to come back. Camp Foley is the place I can truly express myself, and let myself shine. I don’t feel that type of comfort and security anywhere else (besides my bed). Camp Foley provides me everything that I can’t have in any other social environment. Camp Foley is the only place where I feel I can be myself and still be loved. Everyone at Camp Foley is different, with different lives and different experiences. I can’t wait for my last year to come, but I can wait for it to end. Thank you, Camp Foley”- Aged Out West End Camper
“I would like to go to Camp Foley because 3 weeks out of the 3 month summer, camp provides me with a home that I look forward to every year. This will be my 7th year and I am very excited to celebrate it right next to Foley’s 100th anniversary. I love the activities at camp like woodshop and wake-surfing. The counselors and fellow campers are always nice and make Camp worth coming 7 times and more.”- Current East End Camper, 15
